International Baccalaureate (IB)


Institutions register their candidates online and copies of entries sent to KNEC.

Clearance of Kenyan candidates wishing to sit these examinations is done by KNEC on behalf of the Ministry of Education.

 

Exam  Period: June and November.

Local   Fees: Kshs. 1,800 per candidate

Corruption Reporting Structure
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) was established by the Government of Kenya in 1980. Through an Act of Parliament (CAP 225A) as a non-profit making institution to conduct school and post-school national examinations except university examinations and award certificates to successful candidates.
