School Examinations

Our National School Examinations

School examinations are administered in the below levels:

  • The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) is administered to learners who have completed the primary education cycle of eight years;
  • The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is offered to learners who have completed the secondary education cycle of four years.
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Qualifying Test (QT) is offered to learners without KCPE qualification who wish to sit for KCSE examination.

Brief Summary of the National School Examinations.

Kenya Certificate for Primary Education Exams are usually conducted in the month of November, and results are available before the 24th of December.

Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education Exams are usually conducted from the month of October with projects, practicals and theory papers to officially end in the month of November.
